2024-2025 School Year Forecasting

Dear Parents and Students of the St. Helens Virtual Academy,

I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and high spirits. As we approach spring, it's time for us to begin preparations for the upcoming academic year. I am excited to announce that it's now time to start forecasting for the 2024-25 school year at the St. Helens Virtual Academy (SHVA).

This is a significant milestone for us as it marks the first time our students have been provided with the opportunity to forecast their courses. We believe that involving students in the forecasting process empowers them to take ownership of their education and make informed decisions about their academic journey.

I encourage all parents to take the time to review the course guide with their students and discuss the elective classes that align with their interests and goals. The course guide provides detailed information about the available courses, prerequisites, and requirements, allowing families to make well-informed decisions.

It's important to note that while students are allowed to forecast for elective classes at St. Helens High School, there is only before and after school bussing available at this time. Therefore, families will need to arrange transportation for students during the school day if they choose elective classes at St. Helens High School.

This is an exciting time for our families, and I am confident that with your support and involvement, we can ensure a successful forecasting process for all our students.
