Dear St. Helens Virtual Academy Families,
Thank you for choosing St. Helens Virtual Academy (SHVA) for your student's educational journey. As we approach the upcoming academic year, we are excited to begin the forecasting process for the 2025-2026 school year.
We value the input of both parents and students in shaping our course offerings. This year, we have transitioned to using a Google Form for forecasting to reach more families and streamline the process. Your participation in completing this form is crucial as it provides us with valuable data to make informed decisions about staffing allocations and course offerings.
SHVA continues to strive for excellence by improving our elective offerings while maintaining rigorous academic classes. We are pleased to remind you that SHVA students have the opportunity to take up to three elective classes at St. Helens High School, subject to the following requirements:
- Students must attend SHVA Homeroom on a daily basis.
- Students must have their own transportation to and from SHHS (regular bus routes are available in the morning and afternoon).
- Students cannot be on the SHHS campus outside of their scheduled classes.
To ensure we can accommodate your student's preferences, please submit the forecasting form by Friday, March 14th, 2025.
Your involvement in this process is invaluable, and we appreciate your continued support and partnership in your child's education. Together, we can help our students achieve their full potential and thrive academically.
